Hi,

I have a question about including images into web content from the structured content editor. I never get to see a preview of images that are included when I actually create the content. But when I view the page normally, they are there. I would also like to see them when editing the page (instead of just the placeholder with the red cross). Does anybody why it is like this and what I have ...

How to write a JSP program accepting a single parameter?

Hi,
If the parameter passed is “A”, it will generate an HTML of calculator A.
If the parameter passed is “B”, it will generate an HTML of calculator B.
I know how to write a calculator program in HTML format
but I am not sure how to write a jsp and accept a parameter and generate calculator A/B.
Can anyone give me some hints?

Can different installations of OpenCms connect to the same db schema?

Hi All,

We have an OpenCms 6 application.

Currently there exist multiple installations (using sites/default) for different brands, connecting to separate db schema. Now we are thinking of using single db schema by using separate sites for each brand (i.e., sites/brandA, sites/brandB etc.)

I can see two options to do this

1) Have a single installation connecting to common db schema ...

We needed a search and replace tool for our site.
And followed the suggestion from Christian Steinert in http://lists.opencms.org/pipermail/opencms-dev/2007q1/027594.html to write a jsp for it.
I needed to download the opencms source to find out how to do it.
It is open source !
The jsp works well , on our site. (mostly pages with free text).

I would have liked an example but could not ...
